His career in security marketing spans almost a decade at Veracode and NowSecure. He's been living in AppSec, DevSecOps, and has consistently been tasked with explaining complex security products to developers, security teams, and the market at the same time.He's spoken at OWASP BASC, DevSecCon, DevOps World, Rocky Mountain InfoSec, and OWASP chapters in Austin, Los Angeles, and Columbus. He's based in Boston.

Randall Degges is VP of AI Engineering and Developer Relations at Snyk, where he builds AI-powered security tooling and leads the teams behind Snyk's developer relations and community. He's been writing software for over 25 years -- a former startup CTO who built some of the internet's most-used API services (ipify alone handles over 100 billion requests a month) along with a stack of open-source security tools. Before Snyk, he led developer advocacy at Okta and Stormpath.These days, Randall speaks and writes about where AI and security collide: shipping code fast without shipping vulnerabilities, why authentication still isn't a solved problem, and what secure development looks like when AI writes most of the code.
