Our Commitment
CyberMarketingCon is dedicated to providing a safe and harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion.
Expected Behavior
- Don't be a jerk. Treat all attendees, speakers, sponsors, and staff with respect and professionalism
- Be inclusive and welcoming to all participants
- Respect differing viewpoints and experiences
- Use welcoming language
- Be mindful of your surroundings and fellow participants
Unacceptable Behavior
We do not tolerate harassment in any form, including:
- Offensive comments related to personal characteristics
- Inappropriate physical contact or unwelcome sexual attention
- Deliberate intimidation or following
- Sustained disruption of talks or other events
- Advocating for or encouraging any of the above behaviors
Consequences
Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. Conference organizers and venue staff may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the conference without refund.
Reporting
If you are being harassed, notice someone else being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact:
- Any CyberMarketingCon staff member
- In case of emergency: Contact venue security or call 911
Scope
This Code of Conduct applies to all conference venues, online spaces, and conference-related social events.
